Although I do hope our little Branch Out blog is fun and useful, I thought I’d share some other blogs that I read.
Treehugger.com is the number one site to find any green news. They have articles and discussions on everything from greet eating to green politics. I really recommend this site to anyone who is either just getting into the green movement or a long time veteran because the information they have is just so extensive, but it’s still easy to navigate.
GreenGrechen.com is a great fashion website for all things green. GreenGrechen shares what’s new in the eco-friendly fashion world. There is usually a give-away or a discount code or tips on the next green sale, which is great for shopping on a budget. She also does features on new green designers and companies.
SeedandSew.com is another great site for getting all the up-to-date news on your favorite eco-friendly designers and even some new names you haven’t heard of before. I always end up following the links to check out all the designers this site features.
So there ya go…a couple great green blogs to add to your blog roll. Do you have a favorite green blog? I’m always on the look out for interesting green blogs!
xoxo,
Lauren + Thiri

We just love our local designers Jolie & Elizabeth and when they introduced their new Spring seersucker line, we just couldn’t be happier!
Thiri and I both love the Acadian Wrap dress. It’s a great fit for anyone but it perfectly flatters a curvier figure.

And how adorable is Zahra dress, made out of pineapple fibers. Yup, you heard me right, pineapple. The pineapple fiber is extracted from pineapple leaves by hand scraping. After extracting, the fibers are left out to dry in the open air. Dried fiber is knotted and bound into yarn, then woven into fabric. The simple yet elegant fabric is soft and delicate with high luster. So neat!

And for you boys, we think you’d look just dreamy in our Gingham button up. It’s a classic shirt with modern tailoring for a slim fit. Just pair with our black Kenny pant for a hip mod look.

Also for the boys we have the Sam fedora. Any boy can pull off this fedora and the plaid trim will add a pop of color to any jean and tee combo.

So there it it, guys and gals, our hot picks for April! Remember to check out our location at 2022 Magazine Street to see all the other treasures we have for you. Including some great jewelry and fashions from some very talented local designers.
love, lauren + thiri
